Winemaker information
Born in 1870, Antonio Bennati founded Cantine Bennati in 1920, after World War 1, together with his son Annibale. Believing in the power of family, the company grew into a successful winery with the principles of "love, flexibility, loyalty and sharing". Constant development has been passed down from generation to generation as a recipe for good wine. Always with the family name in mind and with pride. "Cantine Bennati"
With its impenetrable red colour and intense aromas ranging from cooked fruit to jam, the Amarone di Valpolicella from Cantine Bennati already shows what we can expect from its taste. Due to the untypical "low" alcohol content of 15%, you can pleasantly taste the complexity, the elegance, which reminds of cherries, blackberries and a portion of spiciness. Try it with meat, ham and spicy cheese.
